## preference: 喜爱 ##

the fact that you like someone or something more than another thing or person.

Her preference is for comfortable rather than stylish clothes.  
她喜爱舒适的衣服，而不是时髦的衣服。

He is keen on all kinds of new things and has a preference for computers.  
他对各种新鲜事物都感兴趣，对电脑更是特别喜爱。
